Senior citizens' centre opened in Nakhon Phanom
The Social Development and Human Security Ministry officially opened a complex for senior citizens in Nakhon Phanom province on Sunday.
The complex will serve as a model for centres promoting elderly people’s quality of life and occupations. Activities will cover health, social, economic and environmental aspects.
Social Development and Human Security Minister Pol General Adul Saengsingkaew presided over the opening of the complex. The event was a part of activities held to mark the National Elderly Day, which falls on Thursday.
If the complex proves a success, similar complexes will be developed in other provinces.
