Blessings sought from Hindu deities

Bangkok residents are welcome to pay New Year homage to statues of nine Navagraha celestial Hindu deities temporary enshrined at the National Museum’s Samranmukhamat Pavilion today and tomorrow.

The government’s Fine Arts Department has invite the public to join in the Songkran devotions continuing since Wednesday. People can pour water on the statues and pray for blessings at the pavilion each day from 9am to 4pm.
