Mae Hong Son storm alert

All villages in Mae Hong Son's Pai district have been put on alert for summer storms and village headmen have been told to immediately report an emergency without delay.
The move followed a storm hitting Pai’s tambon Mae Hee on Sunday evening, said district chief Thanakrit Chanthajamrassilpa on Monday.
The storm destroyed a home of Karen resident Thawil Boonmak, 60, in ban Huai Kaew.
Village headman Paiboon Chobpor, fellow villagers and soldiers helped clear the debris on Monday morning so the home can be rebuilt.
