Three killed, one injured in car-truck crash in Sakon Nakhon

Three men were killed and a woman severely injured when their car crashed into a trailer truck on a curve in a road in Sakon Nakhon’s Sawang Daendin district early on Friday.
Truckdriver Janesakda Sisa-ard, 25, was uninjured. He said the two vehicles crashed at full speed on Yonit Road in Ban Dua village in Tambon Thatthong, but claimed that the car cut into his lane on the curve.
The impact hurled the car onto the side of the road.
The driver of the car, Pawornprat Sitthikhu, 34, and two passengers – Anukul Boonjong, 31, and Sorayot Lertsrilesup, 35 – were killed. Another passenger, Em-orn Udomchai, 27, was severely injured and rushed to Sawang Daendin Hospital.
