Bangkok Airways’ Q1 net drops nearly 65%

Bangkok Airways has announced revenue of Bt7.46 billion and net profit of Bt565 million for the first quarter, down 3.9 and 64.69 per cent respectively from the same period last year
.
Company president Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth said the decrease in revenue was mainly due to declines in its airline and airport businesses by 3.9 and 12.1 per cent respectively, resulting from slow growth in the number of passengers, up by only 2.7 per cent year on year.
