Chinese tourist’s bag snatched on Pattaya street

A Chinese tourist lost her handbag with Bt30,000 worth of valuables in it when a motorcyclist snatched it from her hand while she was walking on North Pattaya Road late Wednesday night.
Following the incident, Weng Xin Chun, 54, filed a complaint at Pattaya Police Station at 11pm.
She said she was walking on the road heading to the Dolphin roundabout when a lone motorcyclist approached her, snatched her bag and sped off.
She lost 2,000 yuan (about Bt10,000) and Bt400 in cash and an iPhone 6 smartphone.
Police will check footage of CCTVs in the area to try to locate the robber.
