Chanon Khemrum, chairman of the Buri Ram Farmer Volunteers Association, said the association has received complaints about the flooding.
Chanon said the floods occurred because new roads that have been built blocked rainwater from being drained naturally.
Arisa Rirkkrathok, 42, said she borrowed Bt400,000 from the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives to plant rice and sugarcane and now all her farm was inundated.
