Fire guts Pathum Thani industrial-waste storage facility

Sommat Phaokhohnchom, 52, the work chief at the For C Corp site in Sam Khok district, said the fire broke out about 2am beneath a pile of plastic waste awaiting disposal and quickly spread through the building. 
Most of the waste was plastic material from factories.
Ten fire-fighters brought the blaze under control in about an hour.
Police forensics experts are investigating the cause.
