Drugs seized in Area 4
Bangkok Police and Army have joined force in a pre-dawn operation to search 30 locations - mostly apartments and communities within the Metropolitan Police Area 4 jurisdiction to suppress drugs and other crimes on Thursday.
Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpan, the 191 patrol and special operation division chief, told a press conference that they netted 10 criminal suspects and confiscated 29 yaba pills, 9.28 grams of crystal meth or “ice” and 320 krathom leaves.
The operation was per the policy given by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, his deputy Prawit Wongsuwan, and national police chief Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda to suppress criminals in the Metropolitan Police Area 3 and 4 in recent months, he added.
