Phayao kindergarten closed amid influenza concerns

A kindergarten in Phayao’s Mueang district was closed on Friday after a pupil tested positive for the Influenza A (H1N1) virus.
Wasant Wongpanyawiwat, director of Phayao Kindergarten, said he ordered the closure after the child’s parents told him on Thursday evening about the flu test result.
Wasant said about 10 other pupils were also showing flu-like symptoms.
He’d had municipal public-health officials spray disinfectant at the school.
