A monitor lizard whose tummy got stuck in the opening of the drainage pipe was freed in Nakhon Nayok’s Muang district on Tuesday.

Staff from the Sawang Ariyatham Sathan Foundation arrived at the sidewalk pipe on Suwannasorn Road after passers-by spotted the stuck reptile.
It appeared exhausted and could not move.
Foundation staff tie its mouth and freed it after breaking the drain’s concrete cover. The lizard is two-metre-long and it weighs about 30 kilogrammes.
The lizard was released into the wild.
