Probe into top cop caught 'drunk' on camera

Nong Khai police chief Maj-General Paisal Luesomboon has set up a panel to probe a police lieutenant colonel who appeared drunk while caught on video as he chased a car and blocked the driver in the northern province late on Saturday night.
The video of Lt-Colonel San Thananta, inspector of Na Ngiew Police Station in Nong Khai’s Sangkhom district, was widely shared on Facebook.
Paisal said he has seen the clip and transferred San to an inactive post in Nong Khai, starting Monday.
