Mountain run-off swamps village in Phitsanulok
Homes and the main road in Phitsanulok’s Chart Trakan district were inundated after flash flooding on Tuesday morning.
Residents of the village of Ban Therd Chart in Tambon Borphak said the Phak River, swollen by run-off from Mount Soi Dao and Mount Phu Chad after days of torrential rain, overflowed at about 10.30am, swamping their homes.
A section of Chart Trakan-Ban Cham Najui Road was under 50 centimetres of water.
