Tourists prohibit from swimming at Si Sa Ket’s Huay Chan waterfall

The authorities have prohibited tourists from entering the water at Huay Chan waterfall in Si Sa Ket’s Khun Han district following heavy rain.
Khun Han district chief Somkiart Srikhao said he instructed tambon Huay Chan officials and volunteers to prevent tourists from entering the water.
Somkiart said mountains upstream of the waterfall have been affected by heavy downpours the past few days, raising concerns of run-offs occurring.
He said the waterfall was not closed but tourists were not allowed to get into the water.
