Cambodian migrant worker killed in Pathum Thani in row over motorcycle

A quarrel among Cambodians working at a chicken processing plant in Pathum Thani left one man stabbed to death and two others injured early Monday morning.

Klong Sib Song police station inspector Pol Lt Col Pichaiyut Butrthumphan said the fight took place around 1.30am at the Phu Thai Kai Sod plant in Tambon Lamsai, Lam Lukka district.
A Cambodian identified only as Phadpeng, 21, was slashed on the right arm and suffered a fatal wound to his head.
The two others, Peng, 22, and Roon, 26, were taken to Nopparat Hospital.
Three other Cambodian workers fled the scene but were arrested nearby.
Pichaiyut said they claimed the quarrel was over a motorcycle they’d borrowed from the factory owner. They believed the other three had left the bike with a flat tyre, which they’d failed to repair.
