Hit Event claims exhibition industry first with online platform

Hit Event Co Ltd has launched Hitevent.com, which it claims is Thailand’s first online exhibition platform.

By cooperating with businesses and small and medium-sized (SMEs) nationwide, “various exhibitions will be organised for online shoppers who love to buy best value products and services as well as those who love to buy products at trade exhibitions or events”, the company said.
Together with this launch, the company will debut its first online event “Thai Nhee Tiew” (Thais’ holiday escape) from September 21-30.
“The event will gather travel packages, accommodations, and services at special prices, including lucky draws worth Bt1 million in total.
“The event will be held on the Hitevent.com website for 10 days, 24 hours a day. In addition, on the first day of Thai Nhee Tiew event, a special promotion for accommodations at 4-5 star hotels will be available at Bt99.
Kalaya Kunanantakul, chairperson of Hit Event, said: “This idea is to help entrepreneurs with a limited budget and resources including staff, time, and marketing experiences, to increase sales and add promotion channels.
“Even though traditional exhibitions are good choices for entrepreneurs to meet consumers, they are also costly and may not create the expected return of investments.
“Meanwhile, consumers who would like to get high-quality products at affordable prices normally will face inconveniences including distances, travelling time, traffics, parking lots as well as to be among the crowd. In addition, there are also some expenses in addition to costs of the products themselves. Traditional exhibitions also limited the ability to join the event of those who are too far from the venue.”
