An army of media personnel camped in front of former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s house at 11.30am on Friday, after she failed to turn up at the Supreme Court as scheduled at 9am.
Thai and foreign reporters waited outside her house on Yothin Pattana Soi 3 in Navamin subdistrict in Bangkok’s Bueng Koom district after it became evident that she was absenting herself from the court session.
No activity was visible within the house.
Cameramen got ready when a black BMW 520D with dark-tinted windows was driven into the house but the gate of the house quickly closed.
