Chumphon man arrested for drugs trafficking
Police arrested a man in Chumphon’s Mueang district early on Saturday, seizing 4,162 methamphetamine pills and nearly 125 grams of crystal meth allegedly found on him.
Kittiphat Taphonoi, 22, was stopped while riding his motorcycle at 2.30am because he looked suspicious to police.
Police then took him to search his room at an apartment building and found the drugs and two post boxes with names and addresses of recipients as well as book of his buyers.
Police also found 1,040 pills of Alprazolam, a controlled pharmaceutical for anxiety disorder.
