Live broadcast of Royal Cremation rites ends after broadcast of tradition shows begins: Sansern

Government Spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd sent a message to reporters at 11 pm Thursday, saying the live broadcast of the Royal Cremation rites has ended.

He said the TV pool was only broadcasting the traditional show from the three stages around the Royal Crematorium but the broadcast of the royal rites have ended.

The broadcast of the traditional shows took place after the Royal Family members greeted the state guests following the rite of symbolic cremation.

The broadcast of the traditional Khon dance started at 8 pm.

Earlier, it was expected that the actual royal cremation would be broadcast at 10 pm.
