The body of an unidentified man that washed up on a beach in Songkhla late on Monday night may be a murder victim, police have said.

The body was found in a bag on Ban Tha Yang Beach in Tambon Na Thab’s Moo 3 village in Songkhla’s Chana district.
The man appeared to be 35 to 40 years old and was wearing only boxer shorts.
His face had been beaten by a hard object and there were several wounds on other parts of his body, police said.
Police said they suspected the man was a migrant crew member from a fishing boat and had been dumped into the sea after being murdered.
