Experts repaired and tested the lighting system for aircraft navigation and related systems on Saturday, said Darun Saengchai, director-general of the Airports Department.
Officials also tested the runway strength using a falling weight deflectometer, and verified that the runway was still in a good condition.
The airport was closed on December 7 after floodwater submerged the end of Runway 19, resulting in damage to six lights required for aircraft navigation.
