Fire destroys glass factory in Samut Prakan

A fire destroyed a glass factory in Samut Prakan on Thursday morning, causing an estimated Bt10 million worth of damage. There were no injuries.
Phra Pradaeng police got the call at 6.15am and 10 fire engines were dispatched to PA Glass on Suk Sawat 64 Branch 2 in Tambon Bang Pheung.
Police said the fire started in the house of factory owner Aranya Chaisayan, 50, before spreading to and engulfing the factory building itself.
Firefighters were able to prevent the blaze spreading to a nearby furniture factory.
Forensics police have yet to determine the cause.
