Huge turnout of cyclists at Nation’s Trat bike event
Thousands of cyclists took part in the 39-kilometre Nation Bike Thailand ride in Trat province on Sunday.
The event was held under the theme “Pan Slow Life Pan, Sai Jai Sing Wate Lom, Muang Tong Hamplad, or “Slow-life Cycling, Attention to Environment and Must-see City”.
The event started with the cyclists and participants planting 500 Yang trees under the concept “Changes for the Better”, as part of the “Planting Yang, Creating Waterways and Lives” project.
The activities were held at Rukkachart Garden in Khao Rakam Agri-Tourism Learning Centre and were part of a project initiated by HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha to follow in the footsteps of the late HM King Rama IX.
The 39km route finished at Rukkachart Garden.
The event was held for the third year and was sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric Kanyong Watana Co, Ltd, Nation TV and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The next event will take the cyclists to Buri Ram province on June 24. Those who are interested to join can check out www.nationtv./slowlifebiketrip and FB : slowlifebiketrip
