The Public Health Ministry is rushing to solve the problem of flooded hospitals in Chanthaburi, Trat and Prachin Buri in a bid to provide much-needed services to those suffering from typhoon Kompasu. Meanwhile, local mobile medical units have been set up for flood victims.

Trat authorities will conduct a second, more detailed, survey to gauge residents’ opinions on a planned bridge linking Koh Chang to the mainland. The first survey on the project was conducted four years ago and construction of the bridge is scheduled to kick off in 2023.

The direct service between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Trat will be operated by an ATR72-600, starting with three flights per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The outbound flight PG305 departs Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) airport at 11.40hrs. and arrives Trat airport at 12.40hrs.
