A drunk man was saved from jumping from the 10-metre-high rooftop of a boarding house in Chiang Mai's Muang district on Thursday morning.

Police rushed to the boarding house on Sri Ping Muang road in Tambon Hai Ya after a man was spotted sitting on the rooftop, threatening to jump.
The man was identified later as Sador Yaemuang from Chiang Mai's Prao district.
Polic spent about 10 minutes talking to the man before he was brought down. He was sent to the Suan Proong Hospital for treatment.
Police said the man was drunk and became disillusioned that someone would attack him so he climbed onto the rooftop.
