Bird Thongchai hopes for ‘open-minded’ leader
Superstar Thongchai “Bird” McIntyre, who cast his vote in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district, said he wanted a leader who was open-minded and loves Thainess and Thai people.
“I woke up early despite having a concert late at night. There are many candidates and we have to study their profiles and policies. No matter who wins the election, I want to see Thais love each other because love is like a sacred pond that can help change the country in a better way.
“As a person from the entertainment field, I’m eager to follow any policies that will make people happy. First-time voters must come out and exercise your right to vote," Bird, 61, said.
