FTI chief calls for pro-growth policies from next government
The chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), Supant Mongkolsuthree, said after casting his vote on Sunday morning that the election was the best way to drive the country forward.
“I also hope all parties will accept the results of the election and form a new government with policies that can drive the country forward,” he said.
He said he was confident that all political parties would pursue policies to help the country’s economy growth, especially the Eastern Economic Corridor that will play a part in pushing the country’s economic growth. He also hoped any party that formed the government will have policies to boost the grass roots economy and improve the country's industry and agriculture.
