Unidentified man jumps to death from 9th floor of Rayong hospital
An unidentified man died after jumping from the ninth floor of a building inside Rayong Hospital on Tuesday morning, police said.
The Muang Rayong police station was alerted of the presumed suicide at 8am.
Pithak Thavorn, 41, a security officer, told police that he heard a loud noise at 7am, checked and found that a man had died.
He landed on the balcony of the third floor, which is part of the building’s fire exit.
Police have yet to identify the man, as he carried no identification card and he was not an in-patient. He appeared to be around 30 to 40 years old.
