Phuket man arrested over human trafficking charges

Officers arrested 47-year-old Suppachart Jirawattanakun, originally from Lampang, yesterday. The Phuket Provincial Court issued a warrant in January 2018 over human trafficking charges.

In 2017 officers discovered that the Rich Massage parlour in Sakoo employed under-18s as prostitutes.
Tambon Sakoo is in Thalang, south of Phuket's airport, on the island’s west coast.
A raid on the massage parlour named Suppachart as the manager. He has been allegedly offering customers Bt1,500 per hour with a child.
He was taken to Sakoo police station for questioning.
