Body of unidentified man found on Chumphon canal
The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a canal in Chumphon’s Muang district on Thursday morning, police said.
Muang Chumphon police were alerted at 9am that a body was spotted in Klong Ma Yung canal in Moo 2 village in Tambon Bang Luek.
Police said the man was about 30 to 36 year old and was about 165 centimetres tall. He had tattoos on his neck, chest and back. He had Bt482 in cash with him but he did not carry any identification card.
A doctor determined that he died at least two days ago.
The body was sent for an autopsy at the provincial hospital.
