The Cabinet today (November 26) appointed former deputy Police Commissioner Pol General Srivara Ransibrahmanakul an adviser to the Prime Minister, said a government spokeswoman.

In recent years, Srivara served as a member of the National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) and Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
