Six more cases of coronavirus infection confirmed

Six more cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Thailand, as of 4 pm on Tuesday (February 4), with five showing signs of improvement while waiting for result of the lab-test.

The six comprised a Thai couple returning from a visit to Japan, two drivers and two Chinese tourists, said Dr Suwanchai Wattanayingcharoen, Director-General of the Disease Control Department.
Meanwhile, the case of a 70-year-old Thai man infected with coronavirus and diagnosed as having tuberculosis will only be treated for tuberculosis at the moment as the use of antiretroviral drugs could lead to complications. 
Thailand has recorded 25 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection, of whom eight have recovered and returned home.
