Some 1,000 were handed to garbage collectors and 2,200 sets to cleaning staff.

“We received good cooperation after we announced a temporary shutdown of places. However, some entrepreneurs still violate this rule, so the BMA needs to inspect premises, clarify, and undertake cleaning operations as soon as possible,” he said.

“Cleaning staff and waste collectors have to work continuously. Therefore, to prevent the danger that may occur, we must enhance their safety as they perform their duties,” he added.
