Thundershowers and gusty winds forecast for most of upper Thailand

Hot to very hot conditions are forecast in most of the upper country. Summer storms are likely with thunderstorms, gusty winds, lightning and hail in the Northeast, the North, the Central and the East regions including Bangkok and its vicinity.
In the South, the easterly winds blowing across the region and the Gulf bring isolated thundershowers. People should stay safe by avoiding outdoor places, large trees and unsecured buildings, while farmers should prevent damage ro crops.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:
Northern region: Hot to very hot with thundershowers, gusty winds and hail in 40 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 23-29 degrees and highs of 37-43 degrees Celsius.
Northeastern region: Thundershowers, gusty winds and hail in 60 per cent of the areas, temperature lows of 22-26 degrees and highs of 34-36 degrees Celsius.
Central region: Hot with thundershowers, gusty winds and hail in 60 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 25-28 degrees, highs of 37-39 degrees Celsius.
Eastern region: Hot with thundershowers and gusty winds in 70 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 26-28 degrees, highs of 32-36 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and two metres during thundershowers.
Southern region (east coast): Thundershowers in 30 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 24-28 degrees, highs of 32-36 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and two metres during thundershowers.
Southern region (west coast): Thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees, highs of 34-36 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and two metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Hot with thundershowers and gusty winds in 60 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 27-28 degrees, highs of 34-38 degrees Celsius.
