BMA organises 50 handy online courses for jobless

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has organised 50 online courses to enable jobless people or those who are seeking part-time work to earn an income in this “new normal” situation brought about by the Covid-19 crisis.

The training courses, which include photo editing, learning Chinese or English, pet bathing, online marketing, fortune-telling, cooking, and making products, will end on June 26.
Bangkok Governor Pol General Aswin Kwanmuang said on his Facebook page that the BMA’s Social Development Department has brought together teachers and lecturers who specialise in various professions to organise training courses via Facebook Live and video clips.
“People who are interested can avail of more information and the training courses via www.facebook.com/bmatrainingLive,” Aswin said.
He said the courses are being conducted on weekdays from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm.
“The BMA has also received cooperation from sign-language interpreters at the National Association of the Deaf to enable people with hearing impairment to take the courses,” he added.
