“After the accident, the driver spent more than Bt8,000 to have the leg repaired,” Kanchit Samran, a 47-year-old shopkeeper in the area, said.
However, he added that though the dinosaur’s leg had been fully repaired by July 9, the craftsmen decided to keep the bandage on to show the figure had been injured in an accident.
“Photographs of this ‘bandaged’ dinosaur went viral after people began sharing them on social media,” he added.
