Krung Thep Bridge closed from 10pm on Thursday
Krung Thep Bridge will be closed for maintenance checks at 10pm on Thursday (May 20) before reopening at 4am on Friday, authorities announced on Tuesday.
The Department of Rural Roads (DRR) said it was necessary to close the Bangkok bridge for six hours from Thursday night to check the pumping system.
Motorists have been advised to use the Rama III Bridge and Sathorn Bridge instead.
