Thai military officers on Saturday sent 380 refugees back to their homeland across the Moei River in Mae Sot district of Tak province following three days of a ceasefire between the Karen and Myanmar military in the Ban Pha Lu Noi area.

Both Karen and Myanmar military personnel waited on the other side of the river to take the refugees back.

However, a Thai military officer in the area said the battle between Karen and Myanmar continues on the border of Tak's Umphang and Phop Phra districts.
