Sathorn district in Bangkok was inundated with record rainfall on Sunday.

At 3.30pm, the Sathorn District Office had stationed water pumps and collected floating waste, leaves and garbage to drain water out after heavy rains lashed Bangkok.

Sathorn recorded the highest rainfall at 95.5 mm.

Officials apologised for the inconvenience caused by flooding in many areas.
