The workshop on May 8-9 was organised at Kasikornbank’s representative office in Yangon as part of the capacity building and good corporate citizen programme offered by Nation University from Thailand with support from GE and Thai AirAsia.
It was designed for local business reporters to accelerate their knowledge and skills, including reporting economic and financial news, and gathering and generating stories to enhance digital content. More than 30 editors and reporters from various Myanmar publications attended the two-day workshop.
The programme was conducted by Gwen Robinson, who has extensive experience in both journalism and academic affairs on several Asean countries, such as Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
