The sites chosen for the construction of the six flyovers are near Marlar Hostel on Pyay Road, Inya Lake bank, the Institute of Education, at the junction of Anawrahta street and Sule Pagoda street, at the junction of Anawrahta street and Lanmadaw street in Latha township and on Kaba Aye pagoda road.
In 2014-2015 FY, three flyovers located near Pansondan-Dalla jetty, Aung San Thuriya Hla Thaung School in Mingalardon Township and Kaba-Aye Gamone Pwint Shopping Centre, were put into services.
Among them, Pansondan and Kaba-Aye Gamone Pwint flyovers are equipped with international-standard escalators. But users face inconvenienced due to frequent stoppage of the escalators.
