Indonesia, Denmark to cooperate on wind energy

INDONESIA is set to cooperate with Denmark to develop a wind-energy farm in Sulawesi, Coordinating Maritime Affairs Minister Rizal Ramli said following a state visit from Denmark's Queen Margrethe II and her husband Prince Consort Henrik.

According to Rizal, Denmark has a lot of experience in advance technology, one of them being wind-generated power.
“Denmark is a country with good ethics and a high human development index as well as one of the best education systems in the world. So, we are happy to cooperate with them. Hopefully we can gain a lot,” Rizal was quoted by kompas.com as saying.
In addition to the energy sector, Indonesia and Denmark have also agreed to cooperate in maritime development in Belitung, agribusiness and solutions for city-related issues.
