State-owned Myanmar National Airlines, Air KBZ resume domestic flights

The state-owned Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) and Air KBZ resumed domestic flights starting from March 23. 

The MNA reallowed flights to Mandalay, Sittwe, Thandwe, Kyaukphyu, Ann, Kyaingtone, Myeik, Dawei, Nay Pyi Daw and Myitkyina. It had also announced its flight schedule starting from March 31 on its Facebook page. 

Air KBZ announced that it will be flying to Mandalay, Kyaingtone, Heho, Dawei, Myeik, Lashio, Sittwe and Thandwe from March 26 until the 31st as well as saying that the Yangon-Mandalay-Heho flights will be flying daily. 

Air KBZ also says Yangon-Sittwe-Yangon round trip will be flown twice per week, Yangon-Myeik-Yangon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday. Yangon-Mandalay-Kyaingtone-Mandalay-Yangon flights will be on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as well as saying that other flight schedules will be announced on Facebook.

Tickets for Air KBZ will be purchasable via its website, mobile app and K7 Chatbot.

The Ministry of Health and Sports had announced that all passengers no longer needs COVID-19 checkup certifications to both buy plane tickets and travel but still must observe health guidelines as well as be compliant with any orders issued at their arrival destination.
