That didn't stop Pacific Elements, the brand's sole distributor in Thailand, celebrating its 70th anniversary with previews of Coach's exclusive collection as well as bags and accessories from the FallWinter 2011 collection. Director Alisa Trakulthong, who lived in the US from the age of 12, says she feels she grew up with Coach. "I think Coach is a luxury that's accessible to anyฌone from a university student to a grandmother. We have such a wide range of products and designs," she says.
First established in a New York City loft in 1941, Coach is today available in more than 20 countries and the natural beauty of wellcrafted leather continues to attract. The first glovetanned handbags established Coach's classic style and enduring quality and its turnlock closures and dogleash clips became its signatures.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary, Alisa introฌduced the media to the brand's new advertising campaign, which has actress and style icon, Gwyneth Paltrow as its face. "She was shot carryฌing the exclusive celebration collection from the Madison Quilted Chevron Lindsey and the Madison Caroline," she says.
Alisa also announced the opening of Coach Central World, the fifth outlet for the Thai marฌket since the brand arrived here seven years ago.
