Inheritance and gift taxes a good idea

Meechai Burapa’s letter gives me a rare opportunity to agree with him. An inheritance tax would be an excellent idea. With a well-known philanthropist running the Pheu Thai party, there could not be a better opportunity for it to be introduced. Of course, it would be ineffective if not coupled with a gift tax to stop retrospective transference. This could have saved a lot of bother during the great satellite company swindle.
