Investments may recede with the floods

Japan, arguably the largest foreign investor in Thailand, has requested/demanded, repeatedly, that media flood information be broadcast in English. Many other countries are, also, unable to track investment security in the Thai language. And yet?

Thailand needs a public relations expert (no minister qualifies), and if it doesn’t respond swiftly, Japan and others may/will consider this negatively and reconsider any earlier commitments to remain here.
Consider Japan/others the boss and Thailand an employee. The “boss” says tell me in English, and you say maybe or later. What is a boss expected to do? Wait? The Thai government has already lost the confidence of the Thai people and tourists, and is now on the precipice of losing huge investments.
