The South Korean boy band knows how to cuddle

Not all boy bands from South Korea have found outright success in Thailand. B1A4’s “First Fan Meet and Greet Concert” – organised by Big Cola at Impact Exhibition Hall 1 last Saturday – had a lot of vacant seats.
There was, nevertheless, also a lot of screaming for the cute quintet – Jin Young, Baro, Sandeul, CNU and Gong Chan – and it never stopped.
The stage was brightly lit for the boys’ arrival in conceptual costumes for the opening tune “Beautiful Target”, the lead single from its second EP “OK”. That was followed by “Blink Girls” from the debut EP “Let’s Fly” and “Chu Chu” from the second EP.
“Blink Girls” in particular showed off Jin Young's songwriting ability.
There was a break in the music while some lucky fans were ushered onstage to play games with their idols and get a few hugs.
And then the band in white uniforms sang the love song “Only One”, finally closing the show with a rousing rendition of “OK” that had everyone up and dancing.
If any of their Thai fans missed the show, Big Cola is flying 10 people to the B1A4 meet-and-greet show in South Korea. You have to buy Big Cola products at 7-Eleven and send an SMS. Ten Samsung Galaxy Tabs are also up for grabs.
The winners will be announced on November 4 at www.BigColaThai.com.
