Cosplay creations

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2011

Charinthorn Rachurutchata admits she's otaku - Japanese for "nerd" or "geek" - and that's the title of her second solo show at the Number 1 Gallery from November 12 to December 3, which delves into cosplay.

Her elaborate photo constructions draw on anime and the Christian symbolism appropriated by Japanese cartoonists. The gallery in the basement of Silom Galleria off Silom Road is open daily. Call (02) 630 3381 or visit www.Number1Gallery.com.
