Initiate a constructive new holiday

Clean-ups have started where they can. I would like to propose a holiday to replace Loy Krathong called Clean the Country Day. On this day, people would go out in their surrounding area and pick up garbage, sweep the street, paint things that need painting. These areas could include beaches, klongs, rice paddies, slums, expressways, abandoned lots and anything else that could use a little attention. Districts could provide trees and plants to be planted, and overgrown areas could be cut back to become small parks for people to gather in. This holiday would promote unity locally and nationally. I believe this would be a very constructive holiday.
