Plugged in with Sport B

Bangkok’s trendsetters were thrilled when French fashion designer Agnes B opened her first boutique in Bangkok at Siam Discovery earlier this year. Now they can rejoice even more, as last week the brand introduced its Sport B line, a smart, casual collection that’s on sale at Central.
The designer counts many musicians and singers among her fans and Sport B begins with this perspective. Associating style and function into one collection, Sport B offers apparel and accessories in various styles for this autumn and winter, which were showcased last week by a young socialite, two singers and a hip editor.
MR Manna-rumas Yukol presented the “College” look, which matches bright simple colours to create Preppy attire. The entire collection put emphasis on the rhythm of a youthful schoolboy beat with classic baseball jackets, cardigans and tee shirts boasting the bold “Sport B” logo.
Mannuramas looked cool in her deep pink jacket and cropped trousers. Signature prints like the dinosaur icon, photo-print, polka dots and stripes completed the fresh and fashionable preppy look.
Singer Supol “Bell” Puasirirak looked comfortable in his military fashion inspired “Graffito battle” style. Expressing a strong and tough individuality, the line focuses on army green, navy, burgundy and beige as its main colours while camouflage and checks are its pattern. Think military. Think understatement. Complete the look with military fashion boots, hat, shawl, camouflage backpacks, handbags and leg warmers.
“Armee Pixel” look is the series that focuses on coats. Decorative coats, down jackets and leather jackets are functional yet fashionable. There are a number of looks you can create, from rock to edgy to aviator.
Cheeze magazine editor Dis-aya Korn-kochmas, Cheeze Magazine editor says she like the lower hem jackets that can be worn cropped or zipped it into longer versions. A wardrobe must-have is the military jacket with pixel camouflage.
Singer Prachathip Musika-pong aka Singh Sqweez Animal presented the last look, “J’aime la musique”. The annual “Plugged” music festival is a major source of fashion inspiration for Sport B and nothing compliments the rock chic look quite like a photo print tee shirt of the concert scenes. Team it with heavy washed jeans, a leather jacket, poncho, studded horsehair boots. A grey knit jacket with lightning logos adds mod attitude. The singer, who studied in the UK, says he loves Sport b.
Adding colour and style to the look, Sport B. offers various fashion accessories such as belts, capes, scarves, backpacks and sneakers for easy mix-and-match. Fashion jewellery like necklaces, bracelets, cuffs, rings, bracelets and earrings are also available.
